Ellen Marie Pickard

Ellen Marie Pickard was born in Lakeview, Oregon on 1/03/1930 and passed away peacefully in Placerville, California 1/12/2014. When her children were young, Ellen was very a very active member of the LDS church: Relief Society Luncheon Chairman, Stake Missionary and a Jr. Sunday School teacher.

Ellen is survived by her children, Bruce (Lori) Pickard, David Pickard and Dennis (Linda) Pickard; her grandchildren Janae, Megan, Paige and Christina and four great grandchildren Jay Cee, Emma, Joey and Kieliegh. She was preceded in death by her husband Leo, parents Robert and Alta Hunt and her siblings Duane, Wilburn and Thelma.

A Funeral service will be held Monday 1/20/2014 at 11:00am (visitation 10:00), at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3275 Cedar Ravine Rd., Placerville, CA. A visitation will also be held Saturday, 1/18/2014, from 10:00 to 11:00am at Chapel of the Pines Funeral Home, 2855 Cold Springs Road, Placerville, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Missionary Fund of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
