Auntie Gay was a beautiful artist, she loved working in her yard, enjoyed bowling, was in a tap dance group, enjoyed her family picnic's to Coloma, her trips to Hawaii, going to her class reunions for El Dorado High School and a member of the Alumni Association.
Gracie did not have children of her own, but she did have several nieces and nephews who knew her as their special “Auntie Gay”.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, James Cody; Sister Edna “Eddie” Vivian; twin brother and sister, Phillip and Phyllis Smith; and brother Ernest “Buddy” Smith, MIA in North Korea.
Per Gracie's' request, no services will be held at this time.
