Harold Deines passed peacefully on September 28, 2014, at Marshall Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born in Lincolnville, Kansas, on May 24, 1930, and was a proud veteran with 20 years of service in the Army. After his military service he spent 20 years employed by Los Angeles County, then moved to Pollock Pines in1989. He spent his retirement years helping out at his daughter and son-in-law’s Ace Hardware store in Pleasant Valley and enjoyed traveling with Janett, his wife of 61 years. A loving family man, he is survived by his wife, Janett; their daughters Toni (Leon) Learned, Teresa (Tim) Crawford, Bobbie (Dan) Estes, and Lisa (Ted) Wiggins; ten grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. He was loved and admired by all. A funeral service will be held Saturday 10/11/2014 at 1:00pm (visitation 11-1) at Chapel of the Pines Funeral Home, 2855 Cold Springs Rd., Placerville, CA.
