Hazel J. Bacon

January 10, 1925 - June 7, 2017

Hazel Jean Bacon was born to George and Ora Nordland in Austin, MN on January 10, 1925 and passed away peacefully at Eskaton Lodge in Cameron Park, CA on June 7, 2017. She was preceded by her loving husband of 55 years, Alonzo, on October 25, 2006. Jean is the loving mother of Wanda (Jim) Berardy, Robert Bacon, Roger Bacon and Sandra (Todd) Wulfert and step-mother to Ronald Bacon. Devoted grandmother to Laura and Molly Bacon, Ronnie Bacon, Shelby, Jakob and Spencer Wulfert.

Jean was always kind and encouraging and blessed to have shared her time with many good friends as she lived in Minnesota, France, San Francisco, South San Francisco, Millbrae, West Point, Arizona, Placerville and Cameron Park.

A Celebration of Jean’s Life will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Pines Funeral Home, 2855 Cold Springs Rd., Placerville, CA. Private inurnment will be at Westwood Hills Memorial Park, Placerville.
