Henry (Hank) Rafter was released from his worn out body and is now exploring the universe.
He and his late wife Millie had five children: Rodney Rafter, Shirley Finn (Steve), Barbara Edelman (Dan), Eric and Stan Rafter.
Hank was a grandpa to 16 grandchildren and "pow-pow" to 34 great-grandchildren.
Hank was a proud man. He served in WWII, experiencing action in Italy, Africa and Sicily.
He was born in San Francisco in 1923 and had 10 siblings.
Hank enjoyed hunting, ranching, his family, fishing and community volunteering. He had lots of friends; Bernie Pagenkopf, Chad Smith, Maureen Meehan, Jerry Hoyt, Frank Clark and many, many more.
In lieu of flowers, Hank would hope that you do an unexpected act of kindness in his name.
Graveside services were private.
