James Donald Roberts

Jim spent his career serving in education and healthcare for the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. He was an amazing father, a devoted husband, a loving grandfather, a loyal brother, and friend to many. He loved sailing, snow skiing, watercolor and woodcarving.

Survivors include his wife Dixie, daughter and son-in-law Linda and Cy Oster, Santa Cruz, CA, daughters Sandy Roberts, Corona, CA, and Patti Roberts, Fernandina Beach, FL, grandchildren Nathan and Jillian Oster, brother and sister-in-law Bud and Shirley Roberts, Auburn, Calif., brother and sister-in-law William (deceased) Sr. and Jan Roberts, Frederick, MD, sister-in-law Charlotte Albertson, Kensington, MD, sister-in-law Lois Gallegos, Ormond Beach, FL, nephew William Roberts, Jr., Frederick, MD, and nieces Debbi Christensen, Roseville, CA, and Janelle Roberts-Perrin, Scottsdale, AZ.

Services will be held at 4:30 p.m., Friday, September 16, 2011, at the Placerville Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 6831 Mother Lode Drive, Placerville, CA 95667.
