June 28, 1929 – June 26-2018
Joe was born and raised in Northern California. He enjoyed a career as a certified auto mechanic. He was an avid classic car collector, and used his talents over the years to beautifully restore an assortment of cars and trucks.
He is preceded in death by his wife Phyllis, and is survived by his two sons, a daughter, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.
A viewing will be held at 9am with a funeral service to follow at 11am, Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Chapel of the Pines Funeral Home, Placerville, CA. A reception will be held following the funeral service at Joe Newman’s residence.
