Joyce Hironymous March 15, 1929 - September 14, 2011

Joyce Hironymous, 82, passed away peacefully at home in Diamond Springs on Sept. 14, 2011. Joyce was wife of the late Zane Hironymous; loving mother of Diane (Rick) Hernandez, Pam (Doug) Moore and John and Steve Hironymous; beloved grandmother of Ryan and Tracy Hernandez and Brooke Hironymous; also survived by siblings Louise Craven and Dale Lawson and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Joyce was a native of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, born March 15, 1929. She was a resident of Diamond Springs for 18 years and previously lived in Sacramento for approximately 45 years. Joyce was an active member and past president of the Widowed Persons Association of California (WPAC) Inc.’s Placerville chapter. She loved to cook, spend time with her family and play cards with friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Pines Funeral Home, 2855 Cold Springs Rd., Placerville. To the whole family,

I've just learned about Joyce's passing as of today, and my deepest condolences go out to each and every one of you.

She was a very big part of everyones lives, with her compassion, caring and overall love for all of you. She will definitely be missed, but remember, she will also always live in your hearts.
