Judy spent her childhood years in Carmichael, CA and later moved with her family to Shingle Springs, CA where she attended Ponderosa High School. As a teenager, she loved to bring home stray animals and knowing her father had a soft spot she was usually allowed to keep them. This compassion later led her to work as a CNA and ultimately obtain her college degree as a registered nurse.
Along the road of her life Judy made friends easily. She had a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh. She loved the beach and her favorite was at Bodega Bay, where she would collect shells for hours on end. She loved doing all kinds of crafts such as knitting hats and hair bows, baking sugar cookies with all the kids in the family, playing bingo, penny slots and making kettle corn. She loved camping with her family and cheering loudly for her son and nieces at sporting events.
Judy and her son, Joshua Robert, were inseparable. She loved him with all of her being and loved to host poker nights for him and his friends. She spoiled him every Christmas and up until now was still making Easter baskets for him. She loved jelly beans and salt water taffy, we’re quite certain she got her sweet tooth from her Grandma Helen.
Judy’s life took many twists and turns yet her love for family and friends remained steadfast and will remain reflected by those who received it.
Judy is predeceased by her daughter Jessica Danielle Taylor and beloved grandparents Herbert and Helen Taylor. She is survived by her beloved son Joshua Robert Taylor, her parents Robert and Florene Taylor, her sister Lori Lucero and husband (Roman), her brother Robert Taylor Jr., her Aunt Carole King as well as five nieces and their 9 children, plus one on the way, whom she loved dearly.
