I was recently thinking of Ken and telling my family about him. I was his Engineering Intern at PG&E San Francisco back  in 1991 or 1992. He was a terrific person to work for. We traveled to Diablo Canyon  together and I learned so much from him. I well remember him telling me of his time working as a logger! Ken and a coworker took me to lunch one day and told me I was the best intern they had ever had and made me an offer to come work with them upon my graduation from San Francisco State. A hiring freeze prevented that, but we stayed in touch. As President of the ISA group at SFSU, I invited Ken to an industry dinner on our campus where I asked him to stand and publicly thanked him for putting so much effort into me.  Although 6 years have gone by since Ken left us, please accept my condolences for your loss. Ken was a good person and a good mentor. I fully believe he's helping to keep the lights on in heaven.

We have known Ken since 1979. I worked with him for many years with the same consulting companies in the nuclear power utilities field.  We had a lot of good memories and enjoyed meeting for lunches in our retirements.  He was a good man, honest and truthful, and always did his best for his family, friends and employers.  He will be sorely missed.

I knew Ken from our SIRS meetings.  Great guy to talk to and hear about his memories of the Navy and logging in El Dorado County.

Kenny and I were 1952 graduates of Bell Gardens High School.  Kenny, Jim Howard and I spent  a lot of time together, including cruising in his old Ford convertible ( I forget the year).   I got together with him several times in recent years when I was in Sacramento for the jazz jubilee on Memorial Day weekend.  He was one of the good ones, and will be missed.
