Khloe was born in Placerville CA , December 27th of 1991 to parents, Susan Dennis, Michael Thompson and grandparents Bob and Detta Dennis and Karen and William Thompson.
Khloe went to Camino elementary school from kindergarten to 8th grade. She spent every summer with her sister, grandma, cousin, aunt and uncle at the family’s cabin in Ben Lomond CA, where she was enrolled in a play every year. She loved going to the Santa Cruz beach boardwalk and boogie boarding in Capitola, CA.
A special hobby khloe had with her grandfather Bob, starting at 8 years old, was shooting 50 caliber black powder rifles for competition and throwing knives and tomahawks. She often took first place in her age group.
Khloe graduated from El Dorado High School in 2009 and was one of the top students in her graduating class. She was very smart and excelled at every subject along with anything else she put her mind to.
In 2016 She decided to move to Anchorage Alaska with her dog Lola, in hopes it would bring her closer to her grandparents Bob and Detta, who told many stories about the last frontier and how amazing it was. Her favorite part about Alaska was the scenery and the fishing. She was even able to visit homer AK where her grandparents had a small cabin they often Spoke of. She moved back to Camino CA in 2018.
Khloe had a huge passion for music which she inherited from her grandparents and mother. She often said that music helped her cope with anything she was struggling with. She loved oldies, she loved rock, alternative, country, rap, pop, and classic rock. She had a very extensive taste in music. She loved going to concerts frequently and even attended a cruise ship that was also a music festival.
She had multiple nieces and nephews she was adamant about making time to see. She loved all of them very much and loved sharing photos, videos and stories of them. It was always the best feeling seeing her interact with the kids as she was so good with all of them and they loved their auntie Khloe. This also included pets. Not just her own but any dog or cat she would come across she made sure that she loved on them.
Khloe always was the life of the party. The light in the darkest of times and an amazing friend every person could only hope to have. She didn’t care what people thought of her and always made sure to have fun no matter where she was or what was happening around her.
Khloe will always be remembered as the wild child, the spicy one, the favorite auntie, the one with a contagious laugh accompanied by a snort, which she hated so much. Khloe had the most beautiful soul anyone has ever known. It was never something debatable.
Khloe is survived by her sister Kelsey, her brother in law Ben, father Mike, her many nieces and nephews, countless friends from all over the world, her aunts, grandmas, cousins, adoptive parents, as well as her step mother Nicole, half sisters Maddy, Piper, and Peyton of Minnesota who always welcomed Khloe and Kelsey into their lives.
She was and will always be loved by so many. Everyone who was fortunate enough to know her is certainly devastated by this loss. She now gets to spend her time with everyone in heaven she has missed so much while looking down on us as our protector, our angel.
If we can learn anything from this tragedy, it’s to live free, like Khloe did.
