Linda Mary Robinson Darr born to Kenneth and Marion Robinson in Vallejo, California. Linda grew up in Mosquito, California where she met her husband of 56 years, Michael Darr, who she knew since the 1st grade. She graduated from El Dorado High School, and has been a longtime resident of El Dorado County.

Linda worked at Pole Corral School and Winnie Wakeley School giving extra special, loving care to several severely challenged children and adults. This care extended into her home where she provided respite care for several families. She loved family and friends, and being around children.

Michael and Linda lived in Germany for a year and half, while Michael Sr was stationed there in the Army. They subsequently lived in several cities throughout California. She loved travel and collecting spoons along the way. She especially loved to stay in Lake Tahoe. Linda enjoyed playing the one-armed bandits and pennies were her passion.

Linda was always giving of herself in planning and arranging countless large extended family get togethers making sure all had special gifts, games, entertainment, and plenty of food. Keeping family close and together was important to her. Her family all cherished and loved her and we will surely miss her.
