Paul Edward Hartwell, born January 25, 1943 in Glendale, CA, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2011 at Marshall Hospital in Placerville, CA. Loving husband of Judy Hartwell of Placerville; loving father of Kim (David) Cooker and Joanna (Shannon) Simmons; devoted grandfather of Jake and and Crystal Cooker and Savanah and Josiah Simmons; cousin of Susan, Seery and Gail Burr; extended family "by choice" to Angie, Christian, Janice, Jim and Brandon.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 3 pm at Chapel of the Pines Funeral Home, 2855 Cold Springs Rd., Placerville, CA. A reception will follow immediatly after the service at the Funeral Home. Private inurnment will be held at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, Dixon, CA.
