Richard Robb

November 2, 1926 - June 7, 2015

Richard “Dick” Robb passed away peacefully in Folsom on June 7, 2015. Beloved husband of the Late Agnes Robb (2005); loving father of Marianne (Steve) Henkel, Joe (Cathy) Robb and Julie Robb; brother of Don (Lela) Robb, Maggie Dehuff, Kathy Robb and Helen (Bill) Bearinger; devoted grandfather of Shannon, Joey, Eric, Erin and Kari and great grandfather of Nathan, Kaylee, Ella, Braden, Natalie, Hayden and Camille.

Dick was born in Spokane, WA on November 2, 1926. After serving in the US Army during WWII, he relocated to San Francisco, where he met and married Agnes. In 1959, they moved with little ones in tote to Rancho Cordova, where he became a partner with his brother in Don Robb Pools. Dick later went on to a long time career as an Insurance Agent with John Hancock Life Ins. in Sacramento. He was an avid Oakland A’s and S.F. 49’ers fan and was known by many as “Grandpa”. Dick believed his greatest accomplishment in life was his family, who loved him dearly. He will truly be missed by all.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel of the Pines Funeral Home, 2855 Cold Springs Rd., Placerville followed by entombment at Westwood Hills Mem. Park, Placerville. A visitation will be held Thursday, June 18th from Noon till 5 pm at the funeral home.
