

Ronald Lee Sullivan (76) passed quietly and peacefully at home with family at his side on April 15th 2022. “Ronnie” as he was known by most was born in Sacramento 1945 but grew up in El Dorado County spending much of his early years at Camp 1 where his father (Nelson Sullivan) tended the irrigation ditch for PG&E. Ronnie was a graduate of El Dorado High School class of 1963. Ronnie met his wife whom he was married to for 55 years in Sacramento where they had been neighbors. Ronnie was drafted in the United States Army in 1966 and served in Germany during the Vietnam war. Following his honorable discharge Ronnie worked as a truck driver for Perkins Welding and Sacramento pipe as a loyal member of the Boilermakers Union. Ronnie finished his professional career as a facility maintenance worker for Teichert and Sons Inc. Ronnie was known to so many to be good hearted, friendly, and one who enjoyed helping others. Ronnie loved the fellowship of so many at church, any coffee shop, VFW breakfast, grocery store and all places in between.
Ronnie is survived by his wife Ethie Sullivan (Williams) brother Charles Sullivan Two Daughters Tami Cannon (Ronald) Sherri Ward (Cory) four grandchildren Hunter Cannon (Wife Courtney) Corina Cannon, Madison Sullivan, Arron Ward and one great granddaughter Reagan Cannon and great grandson on the way Brixton Ricketts. Ronnie was preceded in death by his Parents Nelson and Bertie Sullivan siblings Wanda Keeling, Wavel Facha, Ruth Gallant, and Bob Sullivan. Funeral arrangements are private. A celebration of life will be held near Diamond Springs; date to be determined. All remembrances should be made to Snowline Hospice for their exceptional care and family support.
