Ruthy N. Lacy

October 31, 1925 - January 2, 2011

Ruthy N. Lacy at rest in Placerville, CA on January 2, 2011. Daughter of the Late Elmer E. Montgomery (1978); loving mother of Robert (Helen) Newman and Richard Newman; sister of the Late Robert Eugene Montgomery who still rests on the USS Arizona; devoted grandmother of Robin, Scott, Ann Marie, Dwayne and Lori and great grandmother of 12.

A native of Detroit, Michigan, Ruthy was 85 years old. She moved to Hayward in 1952 before coming up to Placerville in 1997. Ruthy worked in administration for 15 years for the Hayward Unified School Dist. working with Foreign Students.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 14th, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes Cemetery, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward.
