Sara Jane Torres

August 17, 1960 - May 6, 2022

Sara Torres, 61, of Rancho Cordova passed away on May 6th in Roseville, CA. She is

preceded in death by her mother Connie Torres; her father Daniel Torrez; her

sister Francis Davis; and her brothers Daniel Torres, Jessie Torres, and David

Torres. She is survived by her partner Gabriel Mendez; her children, Stephen

Maes, Monica Maes and Kenneth Torres; her 5 grandchildren, Michael, Hailey,

Aurora, Evan, and, Raiden; sisters Gloria Miser, Mary Soto, Kathy Rogers and

Virginia Torrez; brothers Louie Torres, Mike Torres, Jonny Torrez, and Carlos

Torrez; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sara was born in Placerville, CA where she spent most of her life until later

moving to the Sacramento region. She was a longtime employee of 42 years for

the California State Franchise Tax Board. Sara lived life to its fullest and in her

spare time enjoyed traveling, gambling, camping, and spending time with family.

However, her real pride and joy were her grandchildren. She was a beloved

mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be greatly missed by all.

Services will be held at Chapel of the Pines, 2855 Cold Springs Road in Placerville

with a viewing on Wednesday, May 18, 2002 from 3-7PM and funeral services on

Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 11:00AM. Following funeral services, she will then be

laid to rest with graveside services taking place at Westwood Hills Memorial Park,

2720 Cold Springs Road in Placerville and a reception to immediately to follow at

the El Dorado Community Hall, 6139 Pleasant Valley Road in El Dorado.
