Tami Ellen Merry

She was born August 23, 1961 in Placerville, California to her parents George Lyle Caruthers and Dorothy Ellen Partain. She graduated from El Dorado High School in 1979. She then met her beloved husband Michael Merry. Tami was a beloved mother to her two children, Tiffany and Christopher.

Many knew her for her contagious laugh and smile. She was a lover of animals, her two children and her six grandchildren. She had a passion for cooking, loved camping at Union Valley, traveling, attending Giants and River Cats games, the drag races and our local races.

She spent a majority of her free time during the holidays working at her Mother and Father’s Christmas Tree Farm in Apple Hill. She also worked at John Piersons Soda Works and Off-Broadway clothing store in her younger years, going on to work at Raleys for 23 years where she retired.

Tami is survived by her husband, two children and six grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
