Years I have cared for my mother. I love every minute of spending time with her, her stories, her love of family and always caring for everyone even when she was not well. These are memories I will have my whole life I cherish.

It fills my heart to know the person she was,
and always caring thinking of others, nightly rosary, her thoughts for others, And am proud and happy to experience
her care and moments we had.
She was a beautiful woman, a loving wife, mother , grand and great grand we all could hope to be.

Theresa Anne Markie 

March 15, 1937 - February 19, 2024

Theresa Anne Markie born March 15, 1937 passed away peacefully at her home February 19, 2024.

Theresa is survived by her husband of  68 years,  Edward Markie, her 6 children, 12 Grandchildren and 26 Great Grandchildren. Theresa's twin brother Joseph  Bundas (Joan Bundas) 
brother in law Richard Markie (Gina Markie) 

Theresa was born in Dearborn Michigan to Andrew and Sally Bundas, the youngest of 4 she is preceded by her brother Andrew Bundas (Patricia Bundas)  and sister Dolores Kurek (Eugene Kurek).

Theresa's  life was blessed with wondrous adventures and
travels all over the world with her husband. 

Moving to El Dorado County in 1975, Theresa
and Edward renovated their beautiful farm home, the (Ranch) into a welcoming
place for family and friends. Theresa made the Ranch  a home of laughter and endless cherished memories.

She was fascinated by weather events, astronomy, volcanoes, earthquakes, and natural occurrences. She spent her time researching those interests and sharing knowledge with her loved ones, ensuring everyone was safe and prepared. Her unconditional love, attention, and loyalty to her family was her true passion and the foundation from which our family was built upon .

Her dedication to the Roman Catholic faith instilled in her family the love and trust in God.
