Born on November 25, 1947, in Tulare, California, Tim lived a life defined by resilience, creativity, and devotion to those he loved. He served his country in the United States Navy from 1968 to 1972 after being drafted.
Music was one of Tim’s greatest passions. A gifted guitarist and bass guitarist, he played in numerous bands over the years, sharing his talent and love of music with friends, family, and audiences alike. He also enjoyed a career as a draftsman, where his creativity and attention to detail were evident in his work.
Tim found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. He loved spending time fishing, working in his yard, and enjoying the outdoors. Whether tending his property or casting a line into the water, he found peace in nature.
More than anything, Tim loved his family. He is survived by his devoted daughters, Mandy Coffman of Placerville and Katy Thomas of Cameron Park; his two half-brothers in Washington; five beloved grandchildren; and two treasured great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him great pride and joy.
He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Cody Ludden, whom he will be laid to rest beside; his sisters, Linda, Patty, and Julie; his brother, Danny; and his parents.
Tim will be remembered for his musical talent, his mullet he rocked until it came back into style, his love for denim on denim, his unwavering love for his family, the way he made
those around him laugh, whether it be at him or with him. His memory will live on in every song played, every peaceful day spent outdoors, and in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
