So sorry for your loss.  My mom Delores Anne House was a very close friend of Bill's and was saddened when we seen he had passed.  He will be missed by many.

My name is Alex Bertini. I have been trying to reach out to family of Jeanette Lynn Bertini (Azevedo) and I am certain that Bill was her father. Jeanette was my step mom and was married to my father (Tom Bertini).  The reason I am trying to reach out is that I have all of Jeanette’s keepsakes and old family photos and I would like to return them to her family. My dad passed away in March 2021 and I came across all of her belongings that he had saved after she passed. I will truly miss my frequent phone chats with Cousin Willie.  He was
a genuine kind of guy who accepted, but also fought, cancer with dignity and courage.   Although he faced some adversity in his life, he was always optimistic and continued to enjoy nature, gardening, fishing, barbequing, cooking, and motorcycle riding until he could no longer do those things.  To his son, Tim - enjoy the many wonderful memories.  My favorite is when we all met up in Fort Bragg for a weekend of fun at a Portuguese "festa" with a few of us cousins in attendance. Our sincere condolences on the loss of your father, brother, uncle.  Such wonderful pictures of a life he truly enjoyed.  Bill had such a good soul about him and I will remember him always. 

Cousin Bill was such a wonderful soul and I am really going to miss him. To Tim his son, I hope you have a treasure box full of great memories and I am asking God to give you strength and courage you need to face the days ahead. We are here for you.
