Audrey Coyne

Audrey Coyne passed away on November 18, 2025. She was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, on August 6, 1928, to George and Mary Schultz and grew up in the Bronx. On April 23, 1949, she married the love of her life, Edward T. Coyne, beginning a remarkable 75 years of love, devotion, and companionship.

Audrey is survived by her daughter Jean-Marie Stalzer and her husband John, as well as her daughter-in-law Marie Coyne. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Margaret Coyne.

Her cherished grandchildren — Michelle Pacheco (Ivan), Steven Coyne (Shelby), Thomas Coyne, Lisa Marie Coyne (Sanuki), Jack Stalzer, and Shannon Stalzer — will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. Audrey also took great joy in her two great-grandchildren, Abbey and Gavin Pacheco.

Audrey was deeply proud of her extended family, including her nieces and nephews Margaret, Michele, Mary Beth, Jerry, William, Terrence, Marie (Bunny), and Carl, and their children Kristine, Amy, and Katie, as well as her grand-nieces Jhonna, Kate, and Dawn.

Audrey was predeceased by her beloved husband Edward T. Coyne and her cherished son Edward J. Coyne.

Audrey’s smile and infectious personality left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She will be remembered for her kindness, deep faith, her warmth, and her deep love for her family. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her, but her memory will continue to live on.

Audrey will be sorely missed by many.

Visitation services will be held at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes, located at 655 Old Country Road, Plainview, NY 118034908, on November 24, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and again from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Pius X RC Church, 1 St Pius Ct X Court, Plainview, NY 11803, on November 25, 2025, starting at 10:30 am.

The Committal Service will follow at St Margaret's Cemetery, 1000 Washington Ave, Plainview, NY 11803.
