

Charlotte Scaturro, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and dedicated educator, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2025, at the age of 87. A long-time resident of Plainview, New York, Charlotte was born on March 18, 1937, to George and Cunigunda Meyer. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Anthony M. Scaturro, with whom she shared 66 loving years together.
Charlotte was the loving mother of Anthony G. Scaturro, Robert J. Scaturro (Maryann), and Laura C. Lagonigro (Dominick). She was a cherished grandma to Robert F. Scaturro (Mary), Ashley Bory (Brian), Thomas Scaturro (Jessica), Emily Vogt (Connor), Micheline Lagonigro, and Catarina Lagonigro. Charlotte's legacy extends to her adored great-grandchildren, Aiden, Deaglan, Aurora, Liam, Jackson, Noah, and Olivia.
For over 45 years, Charlotte was a proud teacher's aide in the Plainview-Bethpage School District, touching the lives of many students and colleagues with her kindness, dedication, and patience. She was deeply committed to her family, her work, and her community.
Charlotte was predeceased by her dear husband, Anthony, and will be remembered for her warmth, love, and devotion to those around her.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes, 655 Old Country Road, Plainview, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 10:30 am at St. Pius X R.C. Church, Plainview, New York. Interment will follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, New York.
In lieu of flowers or food, the family requests that donations be made in Charlotte's memory to the American Heart Association.
Charlotte's love, grace, and selflessness will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
