I knew Dorothy when she was President of one of Enge's earliest fan clubs (Enge's Smiley Faces). She worked hard to mail newsletters and keep us informed of his tour schedule and other news, and related wonderful stories of her travels and interactions with Enge and his family. She was professional, kind, helpful, never boastful, and not envious of his relationships with other fans, and never intrusive in her dealings with Enge. She adored and respected him and his wife and family. I know that she was thrilled when Enge gave her a tour of Great Glen. I wish I had seen more of Dorothy along the trail. Rest in peace, Dorothy, and may you always enjoy the most beautiful voice that you loved so much. My sympathy to all of your family. You've left behind a wonderful legacy. I will remember you fondly and The Good Times along the Humpy Trail.

Unfortunately, I knew Dorothy only through face book since we are both fans of Engelbert. She shared so many stories about him and I always enjoyed what she wrote in her posts. I know for this and what others have said about her that she was a wonderful lady. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. May she rest in peace with the angels.

I've known Dotty for many years. I could write hundreds of beautiful stories of decorating Radio City Music Hall dressing room on a spur of the moment decision to flying off to Vagas.
Dot was a loving fan to Enge. And knew her place in his life. She saw his children grow up and loved his beautiful wife Patricia. She was always a lady!
She has a loving family that will miss her. They have my sympathy.
Dotty, say hello to Yolanda for me 👏👏

I met and knew Dorothy for many years through our shared love of Engelbert’s music. We made memories of happy times together at concerts and parties, overseas and in the states. Dorothy was a very kind and gentle soul, friendly and welcoming to all. I know she will be missed by many, I know too she will be among us at all concerts, in spirit for sure. Dorothy may you rest in peace wrapped in the arms of angels.🙏🏼 My deepest sympathies to Dorothy’s family, friends and all whose lives were touched in some way through her.
