Frances Ann Donofri

Beloved wife to her husband of 58 years, Ralph Donofri, Fran built a beautiful life centered on love, family, and faith. She was the proud and devoted mother of Michele Muller (Richard) and RJ Donofrio (Kristof), who will forever carry her spirit of kindness, warmth, and strength in their hearts.

For over 20 years, Fran dedicated her talents to teaching computer technology and library skills at St. Edward the Confessor Roman Catholic Church in Syosset, NY. A natural teacher and mentor, she inspired countless students, sharing her knowledge with patience and enthusiasm.

Beyond her professional life, Fran was known for her joy in gathering family and friends around the table. A gifted cook, she poured love into every holiday meal, creating memories that will be treasured for generations. Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the unmistakable aroma of something delicious from her kitchen.

Fran loved life, loved people, and above all, loved her family. Her legacy will live on in the lives she touched, the traditions she created.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Fran’s life on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Home, Plainview, NY, with visiting hours from 2:00–4:00 pm and 7:00–9:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 9:45 am at St. Edward the Confessor RC Church, Syosset, NY, followed by interment at The Cemetery of the Holy Rood, Westbury, NY.

Fran will be remembered for her unwavering love, her generous heart.
