Helene Luszczyk

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Helene Luszczyk, who passed away on June 20, 2026 at the age of 77. Born in Bavaria, Germany, Helene brought warmth, kindness, and love to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Helene was the beloved wife of the late Walter Luszczyk, who passed away in 2019. Their love and devotion to one another remained a beautiful part of her life. She was a cherished mother to Laura Kollmeier (Andrew), Monika Fuller (Brian), and Michael Luszczyk (Melissa), and a devoted grandmother to Justin Kollmeier, Daniel Kollmeier, Katerina Fuller, Juliana Fuller, Luka Luszczyk, and Cole Luszczyk.

Family meant everything to Helene. She treasured the time spent with her children and grandchildren and created countless memories filled with love, laughter, and togetherness. She will always be remembered for her caring heart.

Helene loved to cook and shared her love through the meals she prepared for those around her. She also enjoyed watching old movies, Hallmark movies, and classic black-and-white westerns. These simple pleasures brought her comfort and happiness throughout her life.

She is survived by her loving children, grandchildren, and her brother, Martin Fugel. Helene’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her, and she will be deeply missed.

Friends and family may visit at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Home, Plainview, NY on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 PM and 7:00–9:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Pius X RC Church, Plainview, NY. Interment will follow with her late husband at The Cemetery of the Holy Rood, Westbury Village, NY.

May Helene rest peacefully, reunited with Walter, and forever surrounded by the love she gave so freely to her family.
