James Carmody, born December 15, 1970, passed away July 5, 2025. For 40 years, James fought valiantly against illness with unrelenting zest for life, never giving up. A devoted uncle and brother, he was always there for family, no matter his own struggles. Courageous son of Michael and Marguerite, cherished brother to Missy and loving uncle to Domenic, his will was stronger than the foundations of the earth. He will be deeply missed. Visitation will be held Thursday 4-8pm at the Vernon C Wagner funeral home Plainview and Interment at the Pinelawn Memorial Park Friday at 2:30pm.
