Born in Seoul, South Korea, James dedicated much of his life to serving his community through his work at the United States Postal Service, where he worked for 28 years before retiring.
James is survived by his two children, Gina Lee Asuncion and David Lee, his three grandchildren, and his five siblings; one having passed before him. He is the beloved son of the late Duck Whan Lee and Yong He Lee.
Family and friends are invited to share memories at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Home in Plainview, NY, on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 commencing at 10 am with a prayer service at 10:15am. Committal services will be held immediately after at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Farmingdale, NY, where his mother is also laid to rest. May James’ memory and love always remain in our thoughts and hearts.
