

Born in Brooklyn, NY, to John and Anna Biada, Loretta was a vibrant and caring woman who dedicated her life to her family and friends. She was the beloved sister of Edith Kracker and the late Donna Walde (John).
Loretta married the love of her life, George Ferrari, and together they built a life full of laughter, love, and devotion. They were blessed with three children: Joanne Chelosky, John Ferrari (Andrea), and the late Michael Ferrari (Caroline). Loretta's love and pride for her family knew no bounds.
She was the proud grandmother of nine cherished grandchildren: Kenny, Danielle, Matthew, Jillian, Emilee, Brianna (Joe), Cailin, Tatiana, and Lorenzo. Her joy grew even greater with the arrival of her first great-grandchild, Dominic, who brought a new sparkle to her eyes.
Loretta had a vibrant social spirit. She adored spending time with her close-knit group of girlfriends, often enjoying weekly dinners out and sharing laughter and stories, she was a member of a local knitting group and above all, she treasured quiet moments and long conversations with her beloved husband George.
Loretta will be remembered for her generous heart, her unwavering love for her family, and the joy she brought to everyone fortunate enough to know her.
A visitation for Loretta will be held Thursday, May 8, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00PM to 9:00pm at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes, 655 Old Country Rd, Plainview, New York 11803. A mass of christian burial will occur Friday, May 9, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mercy RC Church, 500 S Oyster Bay Rd, Hicksville, New York 11801. Entombment to follow at Holy Rood Cemetery, 111 Old Country Road, Westbury, New York 11590.
