Mary Ann Scappaticci

Mary Ann Scappaticci (Malkiewicz) – age 81 of Old Bethpage, NY, passed away on July 9, 2025. Mary Ann was the heart and soul of her family—a fiercely loving mother, a pillar of strength, and a source of unwavering support to all who knew her. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Frank, and is survived by her three devoted children, Toni Ann (Matt), Jonathan (Samantha), and Frank (Kate), who will forever carry her love and guidance in their hearts. She also leaves behind seven cherished grandchildren—Connor, Anthony, Christopher, Victoria, Caroline, Evelyn, and Scarlett—each of whom she adored beyond measure.

Mary Ann’s strong will, generous spirit, and deep compassion left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She lived her life with quiet resilience and grace, always putting family first and loving unconditionally. Her warmth, wisdom, and vibrant presence will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

A visitation for Mary Ann will take place on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, from 2pm – 4pm and 7pm – 9pm at the Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Home, located at 655 Old Country Road, Plainview, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 10:00am at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church at 500 S. Oyster Bay Road in Hicksville, NY, with interment to follow at The Cemetery of the Holy Rood.
