Nam Gon Kim

Nam Gon Kim, born on March 13, 1954, in South Korea, passed away on August 31, 2025, at the age of 71. A resident of Old Bethpage, New York, Nam Gon Kim was a dedicated Methodist Pastor and Servant of God, known for his commitment to his faith and community.

He was married to Younsoon Kim, and together they raised a loving family. Their daughter, Soyoung Won, is married to Woojin Won, and they have two daughters, Gloria and Grace. Their daughter, Gloria Son, is married to Sung Son, and they have two sons, Tae and Min.

Nam Gon Kim was an avid tennis player, through which he met many people and volunteered for the US Open, sharing his passion for the sport and his dedication to service.

A visitation will be held at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes, located at 655 Old Country Road, Plainview, NY 11803-4908, on September 3, 2025, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

The funeral service will take place Mt. Pleasant Crematory at 11:00am on September 4, 2025. Meet at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Home Plainview at 9:30 am to process to the crematory.

Inurnment will occur at Pinelawn Memorial Park and Arboretum, 2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735, on September 6, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
