Rita J. Curreri

In Loving Memory of Rita Curreri — a woman of kindness, intelligence, creativity, and quiet strength. She had a gentle way of making everyone feel seen and cared for, and she treated every person she met with warmth and compassion.

Rita was deeply talented — an artist, textile designer, and print shop manager whose creativity and dedication touched so much of what she did. But beyond her accomplishments, she will be remembered most for her selflessness and love. She was a devoted mother who always put her family first, and a loyal wife who cared for her husband through difficult illnesses with unwavering strength and grace.

Her love, patience, and goodness leave a lasting mark on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Visitation will be held at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes, 655 Old Country Road, Plainview, NY 11803 on Monday, May 11, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

A committal service will take place at Pinelawn Memorial Park and Arboretum, 2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735, on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, Depart from Funeral home at 11:00 am.
