

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Robert Francis Bagnasco, who left us surrounded by the love of his life, Noreen, at home. Born in Astoria, New York, to the late Philip Bagnasco,Sr. and Henrietta (nee Tatora) Bagnasco, Robert lived a life full of love, faith, and joy.
A proud graduate of Xavier High School in New York, Robert was part of a long legacy of family members who also attended the prestigious school. He went on to have a successful career as a skilled draftsman before retiring. Robert was a devoted Catholic, living his faith in both his daily life and his service to others. Robert was also a national-ranked Trick Water Skier and a passionate fan of sports. He rooted for the New York Giants in football and was a proud supporter of the New York Yankees in baseball.
Robert was the beloved husband of Noreen Bagnasco (nee Leonard), with whom he shared 56 extraordinary years of marriage. Their bond was unbreakable, and they were often seen together, always attached at the hip and dressed in matching outfits, symbolizing their inseparable connection. Together, they enjoyed many happy moments, including their annual visits to Disney every November and volunteering at the US Open, embodying the spirit of service and partnership throughout their lives
In addition to his love for Noreen, Robert was a loving uncle to Pat, Jeff, Kathy, John, and Anita, and a cherished friend to Nancy, Katelyn, Kerrin, Kara, and Nancy. He was predeceased by his parents, Philip Bagnasco, Sr. and Henrietta Bagnasco, and his siblings, Reverend Philip Charles Bagnasco, Jr. and Madeline Bagnasco Cummings.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes, 655 Old Country Road, Plainview, New York 11803. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:15 AM at Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church, 500 S Oyster Bay Road, Hicksville, New York. Interment will take place at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, New York.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert's memory to Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church, Hicksville, New York.
Robert's legacy will live on through the love he shared with Noreen, his family, and his friends. He will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, and the joy he brought to those around him. May he rest in peace.
