Silvia Cutaia

Silvia Cutaia, age 79, of Plainview, New York, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 28, 2025. She was reunited in eternal rest with her beloved husband, Gioacchino.

A devoted mother, Silvia is survived by her loving sons, Anthony and Joseph. She was a proud and cherished grandmother to Jack, Joseph, Jacklyn, and Anthony, whose lives were brightened by her warmth and guidance. Silvia is also lovingly remembered by her brother’s Gerry & Salvatore Pesce.

A visitation for Silvia will be held Friday, May 30, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM & 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Home 655 Old Country Road, Plainview, NY. A funeral mass will occur Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 690 Woodbury Rd, Woodbury, NY 11797. An Entombment will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park and Arboretum, 2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735.

Silvia will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for her strength, kindness, and the love she so generously shared with those around her.
