The news of Al's death makes me very sad.  I met him at Two Brother's in Plano.  He was such a nice man!  Very funny!!!  So very, very sad... I don't know any of his family but I know the guys that know him at the cigar shop are going to miss him dearly, as will I.

Al was my boss at Lucent, Mesquite. He was THE inspiration to me to become a better Engineer. His charisma was unbelievable, and his wicked sense of humor is legendary. I am deeply saddened by this unexpected event and wish sincerely that his near ones get the strength to deal with this tragic event.

Al,  It's been a very long time and now will be even longer.  Learning of your passing has brought back many positive memories from our time together in the 1980s (late nights at work, golf, Pink Floyd at the dome in 1987, halloween party as a chain laden punker, etc).  I will pray for your daughter's and family.

It was great having you as a neighbor, if only for a short time.  Wish your entiry family the very best at this time of deep sorrow.

You will be truely missed.

Al (Roz)....You will forever be missed by Leif and me and in our circle of friends!  You were the laughter and the light of our group of friends.  You were the jokster, the teller of great stories, the amazing Father, and the brilliant guy with all the answers.  You were and are a dear friend who was respected, admired, and loved!  We have gathered in your honor several times since your passing and each time we all say....Al is here with us.  You will always be with us our  friend. There will never be a gathering that we don't think of you and include you.
