Allison was known for her vibrant spirit, warm heart, and creative soul. She was fun, loving, and deeply devoted to her only son, Tyler, with whom she shared an especially close bond.
A gifted cook and passionate artist, Allison found joy in creating — whether through her artwork, culinary adventures, or time spent traveling with family. She especially loved visiting London, which held a special place in her heart, and she found happiness in caring for animals as a dedicated pet sitter.
Her passion for food led her to start her own private chef business, "A Day at a Thyme." Allison was intelligent, driven, and multi-talented. She graduated from Plano Senior High School and continued her studies at Amarillo College.
Throughout her life, Allison held several meaningful roles, including one she particularly loved — traveling and training K-9 units for TSA and Homeland Security. Most recently, she served as a concierge at The Legacy Senior Living, where she developed close relationships with residents and deeply appreciated their camaraderie.
Allison is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ralph and Genelle McHam, and her maternal grandparents, Ed and Maxine Milburn.
She is survived by her beloved son, Tyler, her parents Lynette and Ronald McHam, her sister, Meredith (husband Jonathan), her nephew Wyatt, niece MaryElla, cousin, Jarae Porter and her daughter, Chloe, and her Aunt Kem Milburn. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate Allison's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 20th, at St. Andrew Methodist Church, Hasley Chapel, located at 5801 W. Plano Parkway, Plano, TX 75093. A reception will follow the service.
