

Betty S. Callahan, age 88 of Duncanville, passed away on November 5, 2021. A beloved Daughter, Sister, Wife, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and friend, she will be remembered for her love of family, her sense of humor and her passion for Texas Rangers baseball.
Betty was born in Norcross, Georgia on February 23, 1933 and completed her education in Atlanta, Georgia before marrying Richard A. Callahan on May 2, 1951.
At the conclusion of her 30+ year career, Betty retired as an Executive Assistant with the Environmental Protection Agency.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Richard Callahan, her parents Louis and Ellen Nash of Atlanta, 2 brothers, James and Howard and 2 sisters, Helen and Barbara – all from Atlanta, GA. She is survived by son Mike Callahan and wife Renee of Grand Prairie, daughter Cindy Callahan of Plano, 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends.
