Bruce Elvis Welsh Jr.

He was born on February 13, 1941, in Mineola, Texas to the late Bruce Elvis Welsh, Sr. and Alene Rouse Welsh. He was married to Judy Helen Welsh (nee Richardson) of Plano, Texas for 62 years.

Bruce was a member of the First Baptist Church of Plano, Texas, and was a deacon. He was a packaging Engineer for Anderson Clayton Foods and Vought Aircraft. After retiring he worked for S&A Systems.

He was a graduate of Texas Tech University. He was also an Eagle Scout.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Judy; son, Allen Wayne Welsh and wife Teresa of Plano, Texas, son Jeffrey Jay Welsh, and wife Lisa of Celina, Texas, and 2 loving grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Judith Ann Srygley her Husband Gerald, and Sallye Welsh.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 12 PM at Plano Mutual Cemetery, 2128 18th St. Plano, Texas 75074.
