He was born on April 30, 1960, in Robstown, Texas. Carlos was a 1978 graduate of Roy Miller High School. He was a graduate of Del Mar College. He earned his Bachelor Degree of Business Administration from Texas A & M University, Corpus Christi.
Carlos had a love for sports. He was a Dallas Mavs and Texas Rangers fan. He loved the outdoors. In his younger years, he enjoyed camping trips, especially with his wife and children. He also enjoyed hunting and was a member of the NRA. He had artistic talent and excelled at drawing. He was a Certified Open Water Diver and encouraged his children to become Certified Divers. More than anything, Carlos had a great love for his family and lived every moment for his kids. Carlos was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church, a member of Knights of Columbus and a Boy Scout Leader.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Christine Carrington. Carlos proposed to Christine after only three months, quickly knowing she was the one, a true love story. Also survived by his children, Carlos Carrington, III of Pensacola, FL, Courtney Carrington of Dallas and Chelsea Carrington of Dallas; his parents, Ernesto & Toni Carrington of Corpus Christi; brother and sister-in-law, Willie & Christine Carrington of Corpus Christi; step-sister, Dora Lou Carrington of Corpus Christi; and father-in-law, Frank J. Garza of Dallas.
