Charles Ray Bealmear, 91, passed away on March 30, 2024 in Rockwall, Texas. He was born in Dallas, TX on May 13, 1932 to Audie and Chester Bealmear. Chuck graduated from Adamson High School in 1950. After graduation, he served in the Army and was stationed in Germany during the Korean War. He served his country again during the Vietnam War.
Chuck graduated from Howard Payne University with a Bachelor of Science degree. He worked as an auditor in the oil and gas industry for Fina. Later he owned his own consulting company and retired at the age of 80.
Chuck lived a life committed to his faith and serving others. He was active at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Duncanville, where he taught Adult Bible studies. After moving to Rockwall, he became active in Rotary International serving as an Assistant Governor and President of Rotary Club of Rockwall 2011-2013. He was passionate about building lifesaving water wells in Africa. He volunteered with American Legion, worked many hours manning the suicide crisis hot line, regularly donated blood and visited the sick and homebound.
He was preceded in death by his son, Chuck, from a car accident in 1988. He is survived by his beloved wife, Darlene and three of his children, Craig Bealmear and daughter in law Debbie Beamear, daughter, Kim Carter and daughter, Michelle Bealmear. He is also survived by his step children, Martha and Rick Wright, Cheryl and Bart Carlton, Paul and Joy Cooper, and Valerie and John McMillan. He always enjoyed spending time with his twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. His kind and gentle spirit will be missed by all those who loved him.
