

Chuck served his country in the U.S. Army. He began his working career as an accountant. He served as a Division Control for Comcast and later worked as a consultant for a variety of other companies. He proudly held three patents. He was a long-time member at Ascension Lutheran Church in Garland, Texas but most recently was a member at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Richardson, Texas.
Surviving family include his wife of 60 years, Carol Ann Prano; daughters, Teresa (Howard) Emrick and Deanne Schweitzer; son, Michael Prano; grandchildren, Matthew Emrick; Nathan (Nicole) Emrick; Christopher Emrick; Kate (Riley) Confer; Benjamin (Alissa) Emrick, Chase Schweitzer, and Megyn Schweitzer; eight great-grandchildren; and sister, Katherine (Bill) Harriman. Besides his parents, he was preceded in passing by his son-in-law, Brandon Schweitzer; grandson, Jason Emrick; and 10 siblings.
