

Passed away on February 13, 2015 at the age of 98. Clifford was born on January 4, 1917 to Lawrence and Eva Standefer Landers in Plano, Texas. He is survived by his wife of over 30 years Helen Landers; brother, Cletis Landers; son, Craig Landers; daughter in-law, Sandra Landers; granddaughter, Cheryl Quisenberry and husband Robert; grandson, Curt Landers and wife Reagan; great grandsons, Connor, Zachary, Cooper, Tyler and Luke; and a host of other family and friends. He was also blessed with six step children by marriage, Julie Bradshaw, Chris Clifton, Cynthia Finney, Teresa Launer, Laurie Sager, Jesse Clifton, 8 step grandchildren, and 1 step great grandchild. Cliff is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Clarence Landers, Cecil Landers, Chester Landers, and Clyde Landers; and his oldest son, Charles Lawrence Landers. Cliff served in the U.S. Army and the Army Reserves from 1945 to 1949. When he wasn’t working in the garden after retirement from LTV Corporation, Cliff could often be found in his recliner wearing one of his favorite hats watching his beloved Texas Rangers on television. Visitation for Clifford will be on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 from 6-8 pm at Ted Dickey Funeral Home located at 2128 18th Street, Plano, Texas 75074. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at 11 am in Plano Mutual Cemetery located at the corner of 18th and Jupiter in Plano across the street from the Ted Dickey Funeral Home.
