David is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Susan Kelly (Callender), his children, Shontise, David Anthony and Chudney. He also leaves behind 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
David graduated from Southern Illinois University and was a member of Kappa Alpha PSI fraternity. He loved basketball, baseball and football. His favorite teams were the Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Cubs and the Yankees. His all-time favorite athlete was Magic Johnson and Kobe Bryant.
His other passion was a love of movies. He loved going to the movie theater and enjoying a big bowl of popcorn. Above all, David enjoyed spending time with his family, playing with his grandchildren and visiting with in-laws and friends.
