Deborah Thompson Herlihy was born on August 1, 1943 in Long Island, NY. Deborah grew up in Uniondale, New York and she spent her summers in the family cottage at Muldrew Lake in Ontario, Canada. Deborah was known to be rather opinionated. She was often heard giving her thoughts to the news anchors during the nightly news. After college in Iowa at Wesleyin, she worked for PanAm where she met her future husband. But once Deborah and her husband Kevin started their family, she devoted her time to raising her sons and being there for her family. As her family grew, her love extended to her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. When Deborah got some spare time on her hands she loved to read mystery fiction novels. Deborah passed away in Wylie, Texas on February 23, 2016 with her family by her side. Deborah is survived by her husband Kevin, as well as by her sons; Thomas Herlihy, and wife Stacie, and Patrick Herlihy, and wife Emily. Deborah goes on to join her brother Charles who passed away early in the war in Vietnam.
