George was born on May 4, 1928 in Plainfield, New Jersey, a son of George Oscar Jr. and Anna (Medberry) Stevens.
He married Ruthann Davis on September 5, 1953 in Plainfield, New Jersey. She survives in Plano.
A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life for George will be held on Monday, September 15, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Plano, located at 3160 East Spring Creek Parkway, Plano, Texas 75074.
