Hazel Williams, age 96, of Plano, Texas passed away February 9, 2015. She was born January 5, 1919 in Southport, Indiana to Lonnie and Ida Milem. She met her husband, Buck, at a dance at the age of 15. They were married March 5, 1925 and danced through 50 years of life together If you see the clouds moving, it’s probably Hazel and Buck doing the jitterbug She enjoyed life and had a saying for all occasions. She loved to hear and tell a good joke. She laughed often and loved always. People of all generations were drawn to her by her wit, her smile and willingness to give and receive a hug. She told everyone she met – “ I want a hug, not a handshake” She always looked like a lady right down to her trade mark high heels she was still wearing at age 96. She loved her family unconditionally and with a passion that made them realize how lucky they were to have her in their life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She joked about winning the lottery, but her wealth came from the love she gave and received. Hazel is survived by her son, David Williams, daughter, Judy Piepenbrok, grandchildren, Cathy Williams and husband Tim, Mark Piepenbrok and wife Linda, Eric Piepenbrok and wife Kim, Scott Piepenbrok and wife Rosalind, Kim Piepenbrok, and Stacey Mosher, great grandchildren, Kellie McMillan and husband Daniel, Ashley Ayala and husband LeeRoy, Kyle Piepenbrok, Kristy Piepenbrok, Laura Piepenbrok, Paul Piepenbrok, Erin Piepenbrok, great great grandchildren, Kinsley and Kaylin McMillan.
