

peacefully on October 22, 2025, in Allen, Texas, surrounded by her family’s love. She was
77 years old.
Jenny was born in Taiwan and came to the United States in the 1980s, full of courage and
hope for a better life. She worked hard for many years in several restaurants, where her
kindness, dedication, and gentle heart touched everyone she met.
Family was everything to Jenny. As a devoted mother of two, she built a loving home filled
with warmth, good food, laughter, and care. Her generosity, patience, and joyful spirit left a
lasting mark on all who knew her.
Jenny is survived by her son, Robert Shih, and his wife, Mila Chen; her daughter, Crystal
Jones, and her husband, Chad Jones; and her cherished granddaughter, Lucy Jones. She
also leaves behind many dear friends who will miss her deeply.
Her ashes will rest at the Teo Chew Temple in Houston, Texas, a place of peace and
remembrance.
Jenny’s family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the Visiting Nurse Association (VNA)
of Texas and Victoria Gardens of Allen for their compassionate care and support during her
final days.
A Buddhist memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Teo Chew Temple, 10599 Turtlewood Ct, Houston, TX 77072.
Though she is gone from our sight, her love and light will forever remain in our hearts.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Shriners
Hospital for Children.
