June 1, 2024 – January 27, 2025
With hearts full of love and profound grief, we share the passing of our precious Iris Lucille Vasinda, who graced our lives for eight beautiful months. Monday morning January 27th, 2025, as our family was waking up, Iris was on her way Home in the arms of the Lord. Born on June 1, 2024, she was the missing puzzle piece in a home filled with the joyful chaos of four adoring big brothers. From the moment she arrived, she was everything her family had ever dreamed of—a bright light, a perfect gift, a sweet soul who completed their world.
Iris’ magnetic presence, force of love and joy were too big for words. She filled every moment with her tender kisses, wide, beautiful smiles, infectious chatter, and gremlin growls. Her strong kicks, rocketing bounces to the moon and back, and determined scoots across the floor were a glimpse of her unstoppable spirit. Above all, she was happiest in the arms of her mom and dad, where she knew she was deeply and endlessly loved.
She is survived by her devoted parents (Kayla and Nick), her four protective and loving brothers (Leon-12, Ezra-7, Noah-6, and Jude-3), her grandmothers, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a circle of family and friends who cherished every second with her they were granted. Though her time here was far too short, her love will remain forever in the hearts she touched.
A celebration of Iris’s beautiful life will be held on February 6th, 11 am at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. The family welcomes all who loved her to join in honoring the joy she brought to the world.
"Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.'" - Matthew 19:14
Sweet baby girl, our hearts are broken yet there is peace knowing you are safe in His arms. Until we get to hold you again, we will feel you in the sunshine, in the rain, and in the breeze. We will see you in the clouds, in the flowers, in the light. We will hear you in the joy, in the thunder, in the quiet. You are forever loved beyond what words can express. Though we ache in your absence, we are forever grateful for the light you brought into our lives. We hold on to His promise that we will see you again. You will always be our missing piece, our brightest star, our forever love.
