James Edward Lackey Jr. was born on May 15, 1930 in Rosedale, Oklahoma. James was born to Geraldine Lee Lackey and James Lackey Sr. James grew up in Texas before joining the Marine Corps. in which he proudly served. James went to college and eventually became an Aerospace Engineer. James can always be remembered for his good sense of humor and his knack for enjoying what life offered. There will be a visitation for James in the evening of Friday, May 8th, from 6-8 at the Ted Dickey Funeral Home. There will be a funeral service held at the funeral home at 1 in the afternoon. Please be sure to leave a condolence, the family will receive these and be able to treasure the memory James left.
