She was born on February 20, 1970, to John and Mary Bartling. Raised in Anaheim, California, she cherished her childhood years by spending time with her many nieces and nephews, playing softball, and attending St. Anthony Claret Catholic School.
In 1991 she married Herb Frink, and despite receiving a terminal diagnosis in 1994, they spent 35 wonderful years together. Jenny lived life as fully as she could. Through nine brain surgeries, she carried herself with laughter, positivity, and deep faith.
She was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church for over 25 years. She was an advocate for the prison ministry and volunteered in her community. Jennifer had a gift for bringing people together, and reminding those around her that, even in the face of life’s greatest challenges, their guardian angels were always watching over them.
With her strong will and unwavering confidence, she never let anything stand in her way. She had a rebellious side, and was known for her infectious laughter. In her spare time, she loved to bake, watch game shows, and indulge in a little too much chocolate. But more than anything, she cherished being surrounded by family.
She is survived by her husband, Herb; her children, Chris and Nicole; and her siblings, Joan, Cathy, Sr. Marguerite, Steven, David, and Theresa. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Johnny
Jennifer will be missed for her sense of humor, love for others, and adventurous spirit. She is forever in our hearts. As she always said in her goodbyes, Luv Luv.
